Men and women live in a giant underground silo with different rules that they believe protect them from the toxic and destroyed world above. Whether they’re exploring the stars, escaping a dystopia, or making the world a better place, these women are what science fiction means. Season 1 covers the first 30 chapters of the book „Wool” – there are 82 chapters in the book. In various episodes, the fan on the floor spins in the wrong direction compared to the orientation of the blades. This way, it doesn’t push or pull air. Featured on WatchMojo: The 10 Best TV Shows You Should Watch in 2023 (2023). I really liked The Silo. Just my kind of series. I love mystery and suspense. I hadn’t read or heard of any books based on The Silo. The story is beautiful and interesting. The series is set 140 years after the apocalypse. The remaining 10,000 people live in a silo and have never left the silo. They don’t even know what stars are. However, they know that leaving the silo is fatal. Some people decide to go out to learn more, but they always die. Those who stay in the silo can look out the window any time someone wants to go out and see how and when they will die. Rebecca Ferguson has the lead role of Juliette Nichols, who tries to figure out what’s outside the silo and why she can’t get out without dying. The character development is good, as is the acting. However, the pacing could be a bit slow, as there are some filler episodes. There’s no doubt that the series could have been shortened by at least two episodes, but that doesn’t bother me too much, because overall the series is so good. I can’t wait for season 2 with more suspense, mystery, and answers about what’s going on outside the silo!
